The meeting is a unique opportunity for the dissemination and discussion of cutting-edge basic science and clinical ophthalmic research.
In the morning the meeting welcomes research trainee abstract presentations (oral and poster) from ophthalmologists, optometrists and visual scientists of all levels. Clinical and basic science research presentations take place, along with the Optometry Guest Lecture.
After a hot buffet lunch the afternoon symposium starts with the 21st Norman Galloway Lecture, A journey of one molecule and multiple conditions. What’s the need and evidence to treat non-infective intraocular inflammation given by Professor Andrew Dick, Univeristy of Bristol.
This continues with presentations from other eminent ophthalmologists, optometrists and scientists and our 'In the Pipeline' session with presentations from selected sponsors.
